Hosted by the Latin American Association of Bucomaxilofacial Surgery and Traumatology (ALACIBU). The International Expert Forum is an annual initiative that invites international associations to present educational sessions during the AAOMS Annual Meeting, Scientific Sessions and Exhibition. This year, AAOMS welcomes ALACIBU, the Mexican Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons (AMCBM) and the International Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons (IAOMS) as guest associations. Together, they will bring OMSs from around the world to share their unique surgical experience and insights.

Learning Objectives:

At the conclusion of this presentation, participants should be able to:
  1. Discuss how to strengthen collaboration with international colleagues and their associations by creating opportunities for networking, exchange of knowledge and the establishment of professional relationships.
  2. Increase awareness of the delivery of care of the OMS specialty around the world by gaining insights into innovative approaches, techniques and strategies used in different regions.
  3. Describe cutting-edge technologies, novel surgical techniques and emerging trends.
