The “DIGILOGR work flow” – knowledge of analog implant principles – is imperative for successful treatment outcome. In contemporary implant practices, digital technology has shown to provide more efficient treatment protocols for the planning, immediate loading and fabrication of the final prosthesis for patients who are treated with the zygoma implant concept. Extensive discussion of the protocol for evaluating patients with “terminal dentition” will be presented followed by a systematic pre-treatment algorithm for treatment planning full-arch cases using the zygoma implant concept. A comprehensive review of the various contemporary methods available to implement the digital workflows in fabrication of the provisional prosthesis used for immediate loading cases utilizing the zygoma implant also will be presented. This presentation will conclude by presenting the various prosthetic protocols for the fabrication of the final full-arch prosthesis for patients being treated with the zygoma concept as well as the quad-zygoma concept. The pros and cons of each treatment protocol will be discussed to allow better communication between the surgeon as well as the restorative implant team.
