In this one-hour, fast-paced session, authors will present on their recent articles. Additional oral abstract speakers will discuss research, and 10 minutes are reserved for audience questions.

Learning Objectives:

At the conclusion of this presentation, participants should be able to:
  1. This combined Pathology/TMJ session will explore various topics of interest to the OMS including the management of MRONJ and giant cell lesions of the jaws, as well as TMJ arthroscopic outcomes and improvement in quality of life. Also, the issue of opioids in clinical practice will be explored.
  2. Describe treatment options for MRONJ and giant cell lesions of the jaws.
  3. Explain how TMJ arthroscopy can improve patient quality of life.
  4. Discuss current trends in opioid prescribing by the OMS.
