Andrew Salama, DDS, MD, FACS is the Chief, Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and Vice-Chair, Dental Medicine, Northwell Health, Long Island Jewish Medical Center. He has spent his entire career in academics, following completion of his residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and fellowship in Oncology he joined the facutly at the University of Maryland Medical Center in 2007. In 2010, he relocated to Boston where he assumed the role of program director in 2011 and fellowship director 2019. In 2021 he assumed his current role as Chief of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Northwell Health
