Dr. Rola Rabah DDS, MD started her social media platform in 2017 when she began her 6-year OMFS residency in Boston. As a first year medical student, she shared her experiences as an OMFS resident with a handful of followers. Within months, interest in the unique field of oral surgery and her journey as a woman in surgery started to quickly rise and she gained an influx of new followers who were engaged, excited and interested in more. Since, she has organically grown her following to over 120,000 on Instagram and over 100,000 on YouTube. As one of the very first Oral Surgeons on the internet, she has contributed to the fast evolving social media world which has welcomed thousands of healthcare providers as "influncers". From surgery to lifestyle, Dr. Rabah has been able to share the field of oral surgery with a wide audience internationally. Social media has opened doors for mentorship, networking, business opportunities, speaker invitations and public recognition. Since graduating from residency in 2023, Dr. Rabah has moved to Northern California to be closer to her family. She is currently in private practice in Sacramento and enjoys sharing her new journey as a surgeon and mother.
