Daniel D. Choi, MD, DDS, is a fellowship-trained oral and maxillofacial surgeon who specializes in dentofacial deformities and temporomandibular joint disorders. He received his undergraduate and dental degree from New York University. He then completed his medical school and residency training at LSU Health Sciences Center in New Orleans. Dr. Choi completed a fellowship in temporomandibular joint (TMJ), salivary gland and minimally invasive surgery at Baptist Hospital of Miami.
Dr. Choi serves as assistant director of the TMJ and Minimally Invasive Endoscopic Fellowship program at Massachusetts General Hospital/Harvard School of Dental Medicine. His clinical interests include microsurgical repair of trigeminal nerve injuries, orthognathic surgery and TMJ surgery. His research studies are focused on simulation training, nerve injuries and temporomandibular joint disorders.
