Anastasiya Quimby, DDS, MD is a dual-degree, fellowship-trained Head and Neck Oncologic and Microvascular Reconstructive Surgeon. She is the Founder and President of AQ Surgery: Head and Neck, Microvascular Surgery Institute in West Palm Beach, Florida. Dr. Quimby is board certified by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery with a Certificate of Added Qualification in Head and Neck Oncology and Microvascular Reconstruction.
Dr. Quimby earned her DDS from the University of Illinois at Chicago, followed by completion of a six-year Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery residency and MD degree at the University of Florida. She went on to complete a prestigious fellowship in Head and Neck Oncologic and Microvascular Surgery at UF Health Jacksonville. Her unique training pathway allows her to provide advanced surgical care, integrating oncologic resection, complex reconstruction, and dental rehabilitation in a single, comprehensive approach.
In addition to her clinical leadership, Dr. Quimby is an educator, innovator, and active contributor to the academic field. She previously served as Associate Professor, Director of Clinical Research, and Director of the Microvascular Surgery Program at Nova Southeastern University College of Dental Medicine. She currently sits on the Executive Medical Committee at Good Samaritan Medical Center and is the founder and course director of the Head and Neck Multidisciplinary Tumor Board at that institution.
Dr. Quimby has authored and edited multiple textbook chapters and journal articles on topics ranging from vascular complications in neck dissection to virtual surgical planning in mandibular reconstruction. She is also the lead editor of the textbook "Complex Head and Neck Microvascular Surgery: Comprehensive Management and Perioperative Care" (Springer, 2023). Her research interests include data-driven optimization of free flap outcomes, minimally invasive techniques for salivary gland surgery, and regenerative strategies in oncologic and reconstructive care.
Nationally and internationally recognized, Dr. Quimby has been an invited speaker for the American Academy of Craniomaxillofacial Surgery, the American College of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, and the European Association of Craniomaxillofacial Surgery, among others. Her talks emphasize innovation, surgical precision, and interdisciplinary collaboration. She serves on the Osteoscience Foundation Vanguard Committee and is an editorial board member and reviewer for several peer-reviewed journals in the field of oral and maxillofacial surgery.
A first-generation Ukrainian-American and mother of two, Dr. Quimby is known for her deep commitment to patient-centered care, surgical excellence, and advancing the field through mentorship and global collaboration. Her practice embodies a concierge-style model focused on personalized, evidence-based care for patients with complex head and neck conditions.
