Dr. Jean-Philippe Fréchette obtained his doctorate in dental medicine from Laval University Laval in 2002. He then began a year of multidisciplinary residency at the Montreal Children's Hospital, then a master's degree in dental sciences at Laval University, which he completed in 2005. In 2008, he completed the specialty program in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at McGill University. Finally, he refined his expertise in temporomandibular joint surgery at the University of Florida during a one-year fellowship. Dr. Fréchette founded the OROSPHERE clinic in 2010. He is also an active member of the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the Hôtel-Dieu de Lévis. He is member of the CAOMS, ASCBMFQ, ITI and ASTMJS.
