Dr. Katherine Theken an Assistant Professor of Pharmacology at the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine. She completed her PharmD at the University of Pittsburgh, her PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences at the University of North Carolina Eshelman School of Pharmacy, and post-doctoral training at the University of Pennsylvania. Her research investigates the factors that contribute to inter-individual variability in drug response in management of post-surgical dental pain.
