Jessica S. Lee, DDS, MD, FACS

Jessica S. Lee, DDS, MD, FACS is a partner and surgeon at Northeast Facial & Oral Surgery Specialists and Clinical Instructor at Mount Sinai Health System. Dr. Lee completed her undergraduate studies and earned a bachelor’s degree, graduating magna cum laude, from the University of Michigan – Ann Arbor. She continued her education at Columbia University where she pursued a dual degree DDS/MA program, earning a dental degree in the top of her class from the College of Dental Medicine and a master of arts degree in dental education from Teachers College. Dr. Lee went on to obtain her medical degree from New York University Grossman School of Medicine, after which she completed an internship in general surgery and residency in oral and maxillofacial surgery at NYU Langone Health/Bellevue Hospital Center/NYU College of Dentistry. Following residency, Dr. Lee completed a fellowship in pediatric cleft and craniomaxillofacial surgery at Women & Children’s Hospital at Charleston Area Medical Center, which is affiliated with one of only two level IV neonatal intensive care units in the state of West Virginia.

In addition to practicing the full scope of oral and maxillofacial surgery, Dr. Lee’s clinical interests lie in the evaluation and management of congenital and acquired facial differences from infancy to adulthood, including cleft lip and palate, Robin sequence, craniofacial microsomia and dentofacial anomalies requiring orthognathic surgery.

Dr. Lee also has a special interest in global oral and maxillofacial surgery and regularly provides surgical care for children and adults in underserved communities. Currently, she serves as a board member and volunteer surgeon for Smile Bangladesh, a New Jersey based non-profit organization dedicated to caring for children and adults born with facial and cleft anomalies in Bangladesh.
