Dr. Johannes C. Schunk, D.M.D., M.D. is a dual-qualified physician and dentist currently serving as Staff Surgeon in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, including plastic and reconstructive procedures, at the Bundeswehr Hospital in Hamburg, Germany, under the mentorship of Dr. Dr. M. Giese.
He earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree (with highest distinction) from Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz (2018–2021). In parallel with his dental studies, Dr. Schunk spent four years in private practice in Frankfurt and Wiesbaden, specializing in aesthetic medicine and independently performing a broad range of facial aesthetic procedures.
Earlier, he completed his Doctor of Medicine degree (with highest distinction) at the Medical University of Vienna and the University of Padua (2005–2012), gaining a comprehensive and international medical education across two leading European universities.
In addition to his surgical and aesthetic practice, Dr. Schunk has served as team physician for the Liechtenstein Football Association (LFV), supporting both the A-National Team and the U21 National Team during numerous UEFA and FIFA international qualifying matches.
