Dr. Ana Lavín, DDS is a dental intern and oral surgery instructor affiliated with the Universidad Autónoma de Nuevo León (UANL), Mexico. She has delivered academic conferences and has participated in the development of various articles in the fields of oral pathology and maxillofacial surgery, including research on temporomandibular disorders in athletes and manifestations of oral pathology. She holds a certificate from Harvard Medical School for providing care to patients with autism and is currently learning Mexican Sign Language (LSM). She also leads a Study Club dedicated to supporting the clinical and professional development of dental students. A high-performance athlete since a young age, she brings discipline and resilience into both her clinical practice and academic work. Additionally, she actively participates in healthcare outreach programs as a community health volunteer. Dr. Lavín served as the leader of the Oral Surgery and Emergency department for a year in a clinic. She is committed to advancing her career as a future maxillofacial surgeon, with a passion for inclusive care, education, and impactful research.
