4th year dental student
Lead Researcher on the project
Murphy McManama is a fourth year dental student at Indiana University School of Dentistry. He has a strong passion for clinical research, particularly in the field of temporomandibular joint (TMJ) disorders. During his second year of dental school, he joined a research project focused on understanding the proper management of TMJ dysfunctions. Driven by a desire to improve patient outcomes through evidence-based care, he has explored the multifactorial nature of TMJ disorders. His research aims to bridge the gap between clinical observation and therapeutic intervention, and he aspires to contribute meaningful advancements to the field through ongoing scholarly work and collaboration with oral health professionals. Murphy has a profound interest in the field of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and will be submitting his application to residency programs this fall.
