Dr. Megan Kostibas is an assistant professor of anesthesiology and critical care medicine at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine and serves as the fellowship director of the Adult Cardiothoracic and Intervention Echocardiography Fellowship. She is a graduate from the University of Texas Long School of Medicine and then completed residency in anesthesiology at the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine along with fellowships in both surgical critical care and cardiothoracic anesthesiology. Her academic and research interests include point-of-care ultrasound, transesophageal echocardiography, extracorporeal and mechanical circulatory support. She serves on the heart transplant/cardiomyopathy listing team as the anesthesiology representative.
