Dr. Caminiti is from Montreal and went to McGill University for his dental studies. He completed OMFS residency at The University of Toronto. He is a former Walter Lorenz Fellow in Orthognathic Surgery and Surgical Education Research Fellow from the Faculty of Medicine. He currently is: Associate Professor, Head and Program Director of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of Toronto; the Head of OMFS at Humber River Hospital; Co-director of the Tempormomandibular Joint Orthognathic Fellowship and he directs the Facial Deformity clinic at the Cleft Lip Palate Program at Holland Bloorview Kids Hospital. Dr. Caminiti’s practice and research is focused on orthognathic surgery for the management of patients with facial deformities and the development and assessment of surgical skills.
