Sara Hinds Anderson, DDS, MD

Dr. Anderson is an Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon (OMFS) with a scope of practice including dentoalveolar, trauma, TMJ and orthognathic surgery. She is board certified and a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery.
Dr. Anderson completed her OMFS residency at the University of Michigan. She studied biomedical engineering at Duke University, where she earned her BSE and Master’s Degrees. Her research focused on skeletal muscle tissue engineering and electrophysiology. Her interest in biomaterials and regenerative medicine led her to oral surgery, and she received her DDS from New York University and her MD from the University of Michigan School of Medicine.
Dr. Anderson co-founded the Women in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery Leadership Symposium. She is a member of the Osteo Science Vanguard Committee.
She is a native of Miami, Florida and now lives in Boulder. She has two children, Ben and Eden, along with her husband, Dr. Tyler Anderson, who is a Prosthodontist in the Denver area.
