Resident
University of Toronto
Toronto, Ontario, Canada
My name is Reid Boulet B.Sc. DDS., and I am currently a chief resident at the University of Toronto Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery program in Toronto, Canada. I completed my Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at the University of Alberta, where I was awarded the Gold Medal for academic excellence. Following dental school, I continued my studies by completing a General Practice Residency at the University of Alberta prior to moving to Toronto to commence residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. Throughout my training and research I have had the opportunity to learn from some of the leaders in the field of temporomandibular joint surgery. My interest in improving patient-reported outcomes after surgery led to the development of my Master of Science thesis studying the quality of life changes after temporomandibular joint arthroscopy. As a surgeon, my goal is to push our specialty to focus on improving patient-reported outcomes and the patient experience in all aspects of care that we provide our patients.
