Dr Mohammed Amir Rais is an Oral and maxillofacial Surgery Intern Resident at MGH Harvard Medical/Dental school in Boston. He graduated from the faculty of Medicine of Algiers, Algeria late 2021 with high honors ranking in top 3%. He had the honor to defend his thesis first time conducted in Africa discussing stem cells and tissue engineering in the Oral and maxillofacial region and Car-T cells use in head and neck oncology. Aftee that, he moved to USA where he worked as a research fellow at Mayo Clinic Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and then Joined Tufts OMFS at Tufts Medical Center as a non categorical Intern.
Currently, Dr Rais is working on several research projects such as using AI in early detection of head and neck microsurgical free flaps complications and PRP use with TMJ arthroscopy for TMDs.
Dr Rais published over 100 medical and dental papers, presentations and abstracts in well esteemed journals and prestigious conferences. He also received multiple awards, joined several prestigious societies, performed different clinical rotations. He is also an active volunteering member in different non-profit organizations, reviewer and editor in high-impact factor journals.
Dr Rais unique and ultimate dream is to get into OMFS residency in USA.
