Dr. Le is a board-eligible oral and maxillofacial surgeon with additional training in head and neck oncologic surgery and microvascular reconstruction. He is an assistant professor in the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB). His clinical practice includes general oral and maxillofacial surgery and trauma with a focus on benign and malignant pathology and reconstructive microvascular surgery.

His research focuses include enhanced recovery after surgery (ERAS) protocols following head and neck reconstructive surgery, survival outcomes-based research for head and neck cancer patients, soft and hard tissue regeneration/ wound healing, tissue engineering, and mesenchymal stem cells. He is involved in several organizations, including AAOMS, IAOMS, AACMFS, AO CMF, and AHNS.
