On average, four out of 10 healthcare offices are or will be victims of fraud and embezzlement. This session will give take-home, proven internal control systems to safeguard assets. It is designed to empower OMS offices with the knowledge to reduce the risk of becoming a victim while providing the tools to recognize fraud and embezzlement with a step-by-step action plan for prevention and prosecution.

Learning Objectives:

At the conclusion of this presentation, participants should be able to:

Describe the basics of computer fraud.
Implement internal controls to prevent employee embezzlement.
Identify the steps necessary to prosecute and recover from employee embezzlement.
