Private Practice and Clinical Professor Center for Dental Reconstruction Metairie, Louisiana
Full-arch restorations can be intimidating for surgical and restoring dentists. The goal should be to provide the patient with a long-term, well-designed solution that avoids excessive steps and cost. Time and cost efficiency is important to consider when deciding how to treat the patient. This session will outline the infrastructure requirements for clinicians and demonstrate a relatively simple approach that can be used by all clinicians to efficiently provide full-arch restorations for their patients.
Learning Objectives:
At the conclusion of this presentation, participants should be able to:
Recognize what equipment is needed for the virtual and digital process.
Explain that simplification of the full-arch process will be time- and cost-effective for all members of the team.
Realize that the oral and maxillofacial surgeon may need to direct the restoring dentist on laboratory support.
Recognize the need for the oral and maxillofacial surgeon to be able to merge files and develop a virtual plan within 30 minutes.
