GCF6 - Industry Symposium: Inspire Medical Systems, Inc.: Innovative Approaches to Obstructive Sleep Apnea: Exploring Inspire Therapy and the Role of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons

This session provides a comprehensive overview of current treatment options for obstructive sleep apnea (OSA), with a focus on emerging therapies that enhance patient outcomes. Attendees will be introduced to Inspire, a hypoglossal nerve stimulation implantable therapy for patients who are unable to tolerate CPAP. The program will also highlight the unique and expanding role oral and maxillofacial surgeons can play in the evaluation, surgical implantation and multidisciplinary management of Inspire therapy. Participants will gain valuable insights into patient selection, procedural considerations and collaborative care pathways that support patient outcomes.

Learning Objectives:

At the conclusion of this presentation, participants should be able to:
  1. Review treatment options for OSA.
  2. Introduce and overview Inspire as an OSA therapy for patients.
  3. Give an insight on how oral and maxillofacial surgeons can get involved in HGNS therapy.
