Valeria Mejia, MS4, is a Tijuana/San Diego native, medical student at the Keck School of Medicine of USC, and research fellow in craniofacial surgery at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles. Her research focuses on cleft care, craniofacial anomalies, and reconstructive surgery outcomes, with multiple presentations at national surgical meetings. She is committed to advancing health equity in plastic surgery and pursuing a career in academic reconstructive surgery.
