Mehran Hossaini-Zadeh, DMD (he/him/his)

Mehran Hossaini, DMD is a Professor of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and Associate Dean of Hospital Affairs at Temple University School of Dentistry. He obtained his dental degree from the Oregon Health Sciences University, and completed his training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the Brooklyn Hospital Center in New York. His clinical expertise includes maxillofacial trauma, facial reconstruction, dental implantology, and outpatient anesthesia. He is a full-time educator and an active clinician. His areas of interest include curriculum development for various levels of learners, outcome assessment, and integration of technology in education. Dr. Hossaini is a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, and member of the editorial board of the Journal of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. He maintains an active practice at Temple University School of Dentistry and lectures on the state, national and international levels.
