Dr. Clayton Davis is a Canadian Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon with a specialized focus in temporomandibular joint (TMJ) surgery. He completed his undergraduate and dental degrees at the University of Alberta, where he was awarded the ADA+C Gold Medal for academic excellence. He subsequently earned his Medical Degree, Master of Science, and completed his Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery residency at Dalhousie University in Halifax. Dr. Davis pursued further subspecialty training in TMJ surgery through a fellowship with Dr. McCain in Miami.
Dr. Davis is a Fellow of the Royal College of Dentists of Canada and an international member of the American Society of Temporomandibular Joint Surgeons. He is an Associate Professor and also TMJ Surgery Fellowship Director at the University of Alberta Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry. In addition, he maintains a private surgical practice at Kingsway Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. Actively engaged in education and research, Dr. Davis teaches TMJ surgery courses internationally and is involved in numerous clinical and academic research initiatives aimed at advancing the field of TMJ surgery.
