Dr. Cathy Hung received a Bachelor in Psychology at the University of California at Berkeley and earned a DDS from Columbia University. She received her oral and maxillofacial surgery training at the Lincoln Medical and Mental Health center, the Bronx, New York. Dr. Hung is a board-certified oral and maxillofacial surgeon, a private practitioner in New Jersey, and a speaker and writer on various topics related to practice management. She serves as a Wellness Ambassador for the American Dental Association and currently chairs the Well-being Committee at the New Jersey Dental Association, as well as a Trustee and Delegate for the New Jersey Dental Association. She is also a certified professional life coach and currently serves as a consultant for the Committee on Membership at the AAOMS. She is the recipient of the 2023 Humanitarian Award of Benco Dental's Lucy Hobbs Project and the 2024 NJDA President's Award for her wellness and DEI efforts.
