Dr. Faisal A. Quereshy, a board-certified oral and maxillofacial surgeon by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery (ABOMS), board-certified facial cosmetic surgeon by the American Board of Cosmetic Surgery (ABCS), American Board of Facial Cosmetic Surgery (ABFCS), and the National Board of Dental Anesthesiology, is committed to the pursuit of excellence in both clinical and academic settings.
A native of Toronto, Canada, Dr. Quereshy graduated from the State University of New York (SUNY) School of Dental Medicine with a Doctor of Dental Science (DDS) degree in 1994. Subsequently, he completed a specialty training residency program in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Case Western Reserve University, where he earned his Medical Degree (MD) in 1997 and a one-year General Surgery training.
Dr. Quereshy further advanced his surgical expertise by completing a specialized fellowship program accredited by the AACS and CODA Facial Cosmetic Surgery in 2000.
Currently, Dr. Quereshy holds the position of Full Professor with Tenure and served as the Residency Program Director (2002-2025) for the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the Case School of Dental Medicine and University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center in Cleveland, Ohio.

He has been a delegate for Ohio at the American Academy of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery (AAOMS) and secretary of the Caucus District IV (2023-present). He has also been a delegate for Cleveland at the Ohio Dental Association (ODA), both of which have involved him in the House of Delegates and nominated political positions that represent dentistry and oral and maxillofacial surgery.
He is the chair of the AAOMS Committee of Education and Training (CET) - 2024-2025, chair of the Special Committee in Facial Cosmetic Surgery (2022-present), and chair of the Clinical Interest Group in Facial Cosmetic Surgery (2011-present). He is also a member of the editorial board of JOMS.
He has given numerous continuing education seminars and presentations internationally and locally in his specialized field. He has also published a number of scientific and clinical papers, as well as textbook chapters.
He holds both academic and private practice positions, where he provides full-scope OMS services. He shares a community-based practice with his wife, Dr. Najia Usman, an endodontist. Together, they operate The Visage Surgical Institute and V-Spa in Medina, Ohio. They have four children and enjoy golf and supporting all Cleveland professional sports teams.
