Dr. Bolding earned her DDS from NYU College of Dentistry. She went on to obtain advanced education in Prosthodontics and a MS degree from the Prosthodontic Residency Program at the University of Maryland. She also completed a Maxillofacial Prosthetics and Dental Oncology Fellowship program at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in New York and became a Diplomate of the American Board of Prosthodontics in 2012. She later obtained a MS degree in Orofacial Pain and Oral Medicine from the University of Southern California.
Dr. Bolding specializes in the restoration of oral and facial structures lost to cancer, trauma and birth defects, working closely with head and neck surgeons. She works often with patients having undergone surgery and/or radiation therapy and chemotherapy for oral and head/neck cancer. She also treats a wide variety of patients with orofacial pain disorders and/or temporomandibular joint disorders. Additionally, she treats patients with complex prosthodontic and esthetics needs.
Dr. Bolding is a past President of the American College of Prosthodontists (ACP) – Maryland Chapter. Prior to that, she served as Treasurer for the same chapter. She most recently has served as Program Chair for the American Academy of Fixed Prosthodontics annual conference in 2024. Dr Bolding is also a board member for the Foundation for Facial Recovery, which educates healthcare providers, patients and the public about effective treatments for facial palsy and TMD disorders.
