Dr. Carver is a clinical assistant professor in the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery/Hospital Dentistry, and the OMFS Residency Program Director. She graduated from the University of North Carolina School of Dentistry and completed her residency training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of Michigan where she also received her medical degree. Dr. Carver went on to complete a fellowship in Cleft and Craniofacial Surgery at Boston Children’s Hospital in the Department of Plastic and Oral Surgery before returning to join the faculty at Michigan. Dr. Carver focuses on comprehensive pediatric oral and maxillofacial care and sees patients with a variety of needs. Her clinical expertise includes orthognathic surgery and the treatment of jaw conditions. She also has special interest in the care of patients with cleft lip and palate as well as craniofacial differences. Dr. Carver holds a dual appointment in the Department of Plastic Surgery.
